Refund & Returns Policy

1. Policy Overview

Shogun Automobile operates as an automobile import and export company. Vehicle purchases, auction purchases, stock reservations, and export arrangements involve supplier commitments, auction obligations, documentation, logistics, and administrative expenses.

Due to the nature of vehicle trading and export transactions, refunds are subject to the agreed terms of the contract, invoice, proforma invoice, or written confirmation issued to the customer.

2. When a Refund May Be Applicable

A refund may be considered only if Shogun Automobile fails to meet the confirmed terms agreed in the contract or official written agreement.

• If the company is unable to provide the agreed vehicle or agreed service.
• If the company fails to fulfill a confirmed contractual obligation.
• If the refund condition is clearly mentioned in the written contract or invoice.

3. Deposits & Order Confirmation

Once a customer places a deposit or advance payment, the vehicle may be reserved, purchased, allocated, or processed on behalf of the customer. This may include auction commitments, supplier payments, documentation, yard handling, inspection, transport, and other related costs.

Therefore, deposits are generally treated as a commitment from the customer to proceed with the order.

4. If the Customer Cancels or Backs Out

If the customer decides to cancel the order, back out from the confirmed purchase, refuse to continue with the transaction, or fails to complete the required payment after confirmation, the deposit or advance amount paid may be forfeited.

This is because Shogun Automobile may have already entered into commitments, made payments, blocked stock, initiated documentation, or incurred business costs based on the customer’s confirmation.

5. If Shogun Automobile Does Not Meet Contract Terms

If Shogun Automobile does not meet the agreed terms of the contract, the customer may request a refund review. The company will assess the matter based on the written agreement, payment records, vehicle status, and supporting communication.

If the claim is valid, the company may offer a refund, replacement option, credit adjustment, or another mutually agreed solution.

6. Vehicle Condition & Third-Party Information

Vehicle details, auction sheets, mileage, condition reports, pictures, and specifications may be provided by suppliers, auction houses, yards, or third-party sources. Shogun Automobile makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information, but minor differences may occur due to vehicle age, usage, inspection standards, or third-party reporting.

Customers are encouraged to review all vehicle details carefully before confirming the purchase.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed through an agreed method after internal review. Any applicable bank charges, transfer fees, exchange differences, documentation costs, or already-incurred expenses may be deducted where applicable.
